hook design lab teams are just built different: that was fast. less than six weeks after launching, eulerswap crossed $1b in volume, with tens of millions in daily volume. (nice case study from telos consilium here: routing $1m with $100k). this week, beta rollout continues, with incentives now live on usdc/eth and wsteth/eth pools). bunni is outperforming vanilla pools, and this week we saw them reach new aths and hit #1 in v4 hooked volume. more on what’s behind this jump, here. aegis is proving out the power of dynamic fees (this dash is actually pretty beautiful). lps get better protection during periods of volatility, and tighter spreads when markets are calm. ☼ btw, applications for hook design lab cohort 02 are open. let us know what you’re working on.
futarchy szn is here: this week saw the launch of butter cfms for unichain lending protocols. ready to play? forecasters can now deposit usdc on the butter interface and predict which of four lending protocols: compound, euler, morpho, venus will generate the most tvl on unichain to earn rewards based on accuracy. the lending protocol with the highest forecasted tvl on july 11 will receive a $100,000 grant. the next round of markets will open up again in august. learn more.

study zora: as @smyyguy noted, the way zora is using v4 is cool and interesting. custom amm design via @dopplerprotocol and automated fee distribution between creators, referrals, zora, and doppler on every trade. the expressive protocol is coming to life.
state of unichain: last week, @agaperste did a deep dive into unichain growth: $850m defi tvl, 42% surge in daily transactions this month, and lending protocols scaling. more from bankless on it, here, and a preview of what we’re seeing over on v4, here. on the campaign front, gauntlet just shared a retro on month 2 unichain campaign performance, with new rewards now live.
get support for your next audit: the ufsf provides up to 100% coverage for security audit costs to projects building in the uniswap ecosystem through areta’s marketplace. since its launch, over 24 security providers have been onboarded and over 1 million audit subsidies has been allocated to 15+ hook teams. if you missed this month’s deadline, don’t worry. you can apply for the next cohort until august 7.

this week we saw some major infra pieces click into place. bundles are now live on unichain, letting searchers target specific blocks with revert protection. that means tighter arbitrage, more accurate pricing, less slippage for users, and healthier pools with fewer stale reserves.
